One of the more modern looking buildings on the north peninsula of Ormond Beach. Leeward Winds was suffering from long term water intrusion at control joints and window openings.
In 2012 we agreed on a restoration plan that included sealant replacement as needed, waterproofing of the drain scuppers and final painting and waterproofing of the exterior walls. During the process we encountered balcony restoration issues and post tensioning defects which involved the structural engineer’s oversight prior to repairs.
Recent hurricanes were unkind to the east elevation and we were pleased to make temporary repairs prior to the next paint cycle.
